Please join us for the 23rd Annual Inside Out Steelband Festival, welcoming back guest artist Dr. Mia Gormandy-Benjamin. Dr. Gormandy-Benjamin will perform with the Bowie High School Steelband and the McCallum High School Knights of Steel.
Dr. Gormandy-Benjamin is an Assistant Professor of Music at the University of Trinidad and Tobago. She attained a PhD in musicology from the Florida State University where her dissertation explored the steelband communities in Japan.
General admission tickets are $20 and are available on Eventbrite and at the door.
