We are celebrating 25 years of Inside Out Community Steelband with our friends Superfónicos on Sunday, June 29th, at 4:30 pm!
Superfónicos has been stirring up Colombian Funk, Cumbia and Afro-beat since late 2016. Though based in Austin, Texas, most of the members have deep roots in Colombia. Their music not only highlights the country’s Caribbean coastal sounds, but also the celebration of the human spirit, stories of the displaced, folkloric tales from the countryside, and the reminder to let go and embrace an experience that is more connected to the earth and our ancestors.
This concert will take place in the auditorium at the Griffin School: 5001 Evans Ave, Austin, TX 78751.
This concert is free, all-ages, and open to the public, so please bring your family and friends for a night of great music!
