Inside Out Community Steelband Classes

The Inside Out Community Steelband program welcomes anyone age 12 and up to join, regardless of musical background or experience. New students are welcome to join at any time. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions you may have!

2026 Dates

Sept. 1, 8, 15, 22, 29

The session fee covers the full class time.

Please Note! Our community steel band classes follow this schedule:

6:15-7:25PM rehearsal block will move at a slower pace suitable for beginner level players.
7:30-8:45 rehearsal block will move at a quicker pace suitable for more experienced/advanced players.

Class Location:

Classes will be held in the Auxiliary Band Hall at McCallum High School.

Inside Out Community Steelband classes are held in the auxiliary band hall at McCallum.  Enter through the lobby of the “old theater”, which is on the north side of the main building.  Please note that the classes are not held in the McCallum Performing Arts Center, which is a separate, stand alone building further north than the main building.
