This performance will highlight the versatility of the steelpan, and range from small group performances to full steelband jams. This performance will include premieres of new video collaborations, so you won’t want to miss it!

Please join us for the third event in our Composer Spotlight series, featuring the music of Alexis C. Lamb. We will present two new videos of Alexis’s pieces for steelpan, and Louis Raymond-Kolker will perform Alexis’s multi-pan solo “Internal Dialogue” live over Zoom. Alexis will join us to talk about each of these pieces and answer audience questions.

On Friday, August 28, join us as we revisit all of our favorite video collaborations from the past few months. Even in quarantine, we’ve been very happy to keep making music with our Inside Out family, and this is the perfect way to celebrate a successful and productive summer!

We will broadcast video performances (including some brand new projects) by Inside Out Steelband, our guest artists, and our friends, and we invite you to join in on the fun.
