We are excited to present our 27th annual Inside Out Steelband Festival on Tuesday, April 30th, at 7pm!

Inside Out Steelband and McCallum HS Knights of Steel will perform along with our wonderful guest artist Daron Roberts. Daron Roberts, M.M. is a multi-faceted percussionist, composer, educator and performer with a refined artistic style that draws from Afro-Caribbean and Latin idioms.

This concert will take place at the McCallum High School Performing Arts Center (5600 Sunshine Drive, 78756).

This concert is free, all-ages, and open to the public, so please bring your family and friends for a night of great music!

On Friday, Feb. 23, at 7pm, we have the honor of opening the 2024 National Society of Steel Band Educators Conference here in Austin! Inside Out Steelband and McCallum HS Knights of Steel will perform as a combined mass band, alongside our amazing guest artists, Carolyn Trowbridge and Gerion Drummerville Williams.

This concert will take place at the McCallum High School Arts Center (5600 Sunshine Drive, 78756).

While the Saturday NSSBE conference events require registration, the Friday evening concert is Free and open to the public. Austin friends, please join us for this special show – bring your friends!

Please join us on Thursday, March 21, at 7pm, as we perform with students from the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired! This performance is the culmination of Inside Out’s residency at TSBVI, which is been a long standing tradition for Inside Out.

This concert will take place in the auditorium in building 602 of the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired. A campus map is included below. Public parking is available in the lots along 45th Street, in front of the main entrance, by the marquee sign.

Most importantly, this concert is free, family-friendly, and open to the public, so please bring your friends!

Please join us at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, November 15 for our Fall concert! Inside Out Community Steelband will perform alongside the Bowie High School Steelband and the McCallum HS Knights of Steel, as well as our guest artists, Liam Teague and Jaden Teague-Nuñez.

This concert will take place at the Bowie High School Performing Arts Center, and is free and open for all to enjoy.
